Wookie Garcia will be included in Jeff Ousley's Live Music Showcase this month. Jeff's band, the Party Crashers, will kick things off at 6, we will follow at 7, then Maverick at 8, finishing up with Lords of the Satellite at 9. $5 cover gets you in. 21 and up.

We have played Jeff Ousley's Open Mic Night a few times in the past. The last Thursday of this month will be a good time for a return appearance. Wookie Garcia will be returning to Ocean Beach for the first time in years! Our debut show at Northside Tavern OB will feature two sets from the band, no cover, and cool ocean breezes. A famous space in San Diego music history, once known as Dream Street, and more recently, Mother's Saloon, Northside Tavern OB is now hosting music on the weekends! 21 and up.

Five SDMA nominated artists and bands take the stage for one night of great original music. Proceeds benefit the SD Music Foundation and their mission of getting guitars into the hands of schoolkids throughout the county. Wookie plays first at 8 pm. On Saturday, April 23, 2016 the SUHSD Special Services Department will be having the 2nd Annual RIDE FOR AUTISM. The Ride for Autism involves the motorcycle community to ride to through the South Bay area and visit several SUHSD school sites while raising money for students on the autism spectrum. All the proceeds from this fundraiser will stay in SUHSD Special Services Department to be used in creating or purchasing additional support items for the classroom not funded by the state budget. At the end of the event, riders and friends will gather for an afternoon of great food, music and raffle prizes.

Wookie Garcia will play prior to the event starting at about 8:30am, and again at the event's conclusion, both times in the parking lot in front of the special services building.
